BAR BY BLACK SHEEP HAVE YOU ANY WOOL / BAR BY BLACK SHEEP GRAND LAUNCH

Black Sheep, one of South's new go to restaurant atop the W 5th Building Penthouse (across S&R and beside F1 Hotel) in BGC Taguig launched something new in the house, the Bar by Black Sheep.

As if singing to a children's song "Ba-ba-black sheep have you any wool...", this bar and restaurant definitely gets to offer more than three bags full...

Bar by Black Sheep is a single malt bar offering a wide collection of international brands of whiskey and wine. You can also choose among their long list of artisanal cocktails!

The invitation encouraged us guests to wear black, which of course makes sense for a Black Sheep event. Hosted by Joyce Pring, the launch started with a degustation of vodka based drinks and DJ Jess Milner's deep house music.

A toast to kick-off "the party" paved way for me and my companion to drop off work and enjoy the free flowing Ketel One and Johnnie Walker Black Label drinks. 

This time it was DJ Ron Poe providing original beats. The view from upstairs and the high ceiling for some reasons reminded me of last year's film Great Gatsby (yup that particular version of the novel).

I've always appreciate open kitchens and for Black Sheep, it's their intricate and exquisite dishes and presentation that completes the whole food artistry perfection, thanks to their main man chef Jordy Navarra. 

They have two set menus as of writing which is best experienced with their single malt whiskey dinner pairing. 

DJ Nix Damn P was the last to spin bringing everyone to dance to his soulful playlist. Some of the celebrities present at the launch are Daniel Matsunaga, Phoemela Barranda, Tim Yap, Rhian Ramos, JM Rodriguez, Lovi Poe and Martin Nievera.

Bar by Black Sheep and their over a hundred single malt drinks selection will truly upscale our experience of food pairings. The place at the same time provides an intimate take off from the bustling lifestyle of other clubs from nearby areas. 

Bar by Black Sheep, more than three bags full. More for the master, more for the dame... and more for the party boys who live down the lane! ;)
