ROBERT DOWNEY JR. COVERS DRIVEN TO TEARS BY THE POLICE / LYRICS, COVER, DOWNLOAD
I don't know how the internet unearthed this 2011 video of Robert Downey Jr. singing a cover of Driven To Tears with none other than The Police frontman Sting, but it was surely a good find!

Although the event happened on 2011, the recent footage of this video on Youtube still became a hit. It took place during Sting's 60th birthday and at the same time tribute to former The Police frontman's 25th anniversary of his solo career.
Bruce Springsteen, Stevie Wonder, Lady Gaga and Billy Joel were also some of the performers, but it was surely Mr. Iron Man who stole the night!

One can simply be impressed with his surprisingly great vocals, and this is not the first time he showcased it.
Aside from releasing his full length album "The Futurist" in 2004, I was also amused to discover his video from one of my favorite series Ally Mcbeal! Downey sang "Every Breath You Take" with Sting in an episode back in 2000 where he was singing for his love interest Ally Mcbeal, portrayed by Calista Flockhart (I wonder where she is now?).

Wow, he does sound slightly like Sting! And though it may be nothing new for Hollywood actors to surprise us with their vocal skills, RDJ still got us with all those charm and good looks!
