ELY BUENDIA AND BAMBOO FOR SONY MDR LIVE / THE FIRST EVER SILENT CONCERT IN THE PHILIPPINES
Get to experience a one of a kind concert from two of OPM's majesties with MDR Live featuring Ely Buendia and Bamboo. The first ever silent concert in the Philippines will happen on May 8, 2014 at the Rockwell Tent!
For the unskilled ear, the sound of bass hits, smashing cymbals and guitar strums could be considered as twisted noise. However, music, and all the works behind it, goes beyond that. Noise is only heard when we do not appreciate what exactly it is we hear and this is the outlook that Sony Philippines aims to change with their “Music Deserves Respect” campaign.
Sony believes that music is a work of art created only with full dedication and undeniable hard work that is why they came up with two new consumer promos: MDR (Music Deserves Respect) Live and Wanted DJ.
Sony's CJ Deacosta, marketing officer for personal audio shares to us:
“With Sony’s latest line of MDR headphones, we’ve given customers the opportunity to hear music the way it really should. Now, we are bringing that experience into a more epic and experiential scale with the first-ever silent concert. Head down to your nearest Sony Centre now and get a chance to be a part of history with MDR Live, for one night only with Ely Buendia, Bamboo Mañalac and Sony”.
To further emphasize their commitment to music, Sony also launched the Wanted DJ Promo where they partnered with the country’s first ever premiere DJ Studio, Beat Project Manila.
With their commitment to produce a fresh set of local DJs and producers in electronic music, Sony supports Beat Project Manila by giving customers the chance to experience first hand all the facets of DJ-ing and basic electronic music production. The participants will also get to understand the things to know on being a DJ and the ins and outs to create pure electro music.
There will be no tickets for sale. To qualify, customers must purchase any participating Sony headphones from any of the authorized Sony dealerships with promo posters, from November 29- May 7, 2014. A purchase will be their entry to the promo where, depending on the model purchased, they can get the chance to win a ticket to the silent concert or win trial courses and discounted classes at Beat Project Manila.
