WE CAN NOW DISCOVER DEEZER, THANKS TO SMART!
One of the country's telco giant took its music portfolio a notch up by teaming up with the global music streaming service Deezer! Together with Smart, they had their launch at Raven Boutique Club (just across Black Sheep) in Taguig, and what they offered us was one hell of a party of bands, dj, and (omg) Sony Xperia phones!
It was my first at that time to check out Raven Boutique Club, the newest scene at W Fifth bldg. There are two staircases to go down to before reaching the actual club, then another staircase up for the media guests (or VIP area on normal operating hours). As posh as it is, it wasn't really too intimidating as how I expected it to be (and yes that's a good thing), even on my second time to go here.
There are also demo phones where you can try to navigate and listen to music with Deezer.
Now what shall we expect from a music streaming service launch? Of course food and cocktails! Nah haha, well we had that too, but no, not that.
The Deezer launch was hosted by VJ and rock legend's daughter Sanya Smith.
We got to enjoy a pretty good line up of bands; from The Ransom Collective, Rico Blanco, Urbandub, to Pupil. All those names in one night!

Guests were also delighted to participate on the launch's number of contests, with even Xperia phones to give away!!
As an exclusive perk to early subscribers, Smart will be giving those who sign up for any of the Unlisurf Premium Plans a P175 bill rebate for six months.
Existing Postpaid subscribers, meanwhile, can take advantage of the various Deezer Music Packs that come with a free Deezer Premium+ subscription. These include Deezer Daily for Php25 (1-day Deezer access plus 25 SMS and 10MB of mobile data for Deezer streaming), Deezer Weekly for Php125 (7-day Deezer access plus 125 SMS, and 50MB of mobile data for Deezer streaming), and Deezer Monthly for P250 (30-day Deezer access plus 250 SMS, and 100MB of mobile data for Deezer streaming).
Some of the celebrities who also attended the launch were Divine Lee, Victor Basa, Paul Soriano, Ramon Bautista, Kean Cipriano, Yael Yuzon, Gino Quillamor, Chico Garcia, and a lot lot more!
