entered the song into the 5th Philippine Popular (PhilPop) Music Festival, performed by The

Itchyworms, where it won the grand prize. Now, in 2018, the song has been given new life in the official soundtrack of the hit film Sid & Aya (Not A Love Story) produced by Viva Films starring Dingdong Dantes and Anne Curtis, directed by Irene Villamor).

When I was in High School I remembered recording line per line the lyrics and melody I would come up with as I lay down in bed trying to make myself sleep at the same time. It was somewhat a passion that didn't fully spark, or has been forgotten for other interests. Until early this year when I had this goal to focus on discovering my potential in music; going back to learning the guitar, writing songs, and singing to mention the least.

Wilderness, most known for their robust performances of psychedelic rock numbers, releases music video for Modern-Kundiman song “Pasaway”. The two-day shoot was located in Director Lumbera’s hometown where the members embarked on an expedition through the thick woods and sprawling rivers of Balete, Batangas. It was directed by Gym Lumbera and, hello HS sophomore classmate, Malay Javier!

I never thought a place in Batangas can haunt me, at least on screen. And by haunt I meant not the spirit kind, but the unexplainable feelings that recur to your familiarity, much to its video and calming story telling. Kung hugot at hugot lang, walang sinabe ang lyrics ng mga bagong banda! Wait till the end of the video and read the lyrics, saksak!

For their 20th anniversary, Gloc 9 and Frank Magalona joins Parokya ni Edgar for the single "Ang Parokya" as part of the three-disk album "Bente" to be released on Nov.29.

Just like when music videos of Lady Gaga's "Applause" and Katy Perry's "Roar" were released two days apart, Gaga and Katy fanatics are at it again to hashtag overload on almost the same day! 

This is because of Lady Gaga's new single "Do What U Want" feat. R. Kelly (yeah call it awkward) which was released yesterday October 21 and Katy Perry's new album "Prism" which will be released today. Coincidentally, Lady Gaga will also be releasing her latest album "Art Pop" on November 11, more than two weeks after Katy Perry's album release. 

I didn't see their rivalry coming though, but apparently there is for some. Nora - Vilma lang ang peg!
