TAKEN BY CARS X MARS MIRANDA COLLAB SONG CREATED IN 24 HOURS

Globe Tattoo's Project Speed of Sound tested two of our local acts Taken By Cars and Mars Miranda by handling them a collaboration challenge of creating a song in 24 hours. 

Two different artist genre and a composition due in a day, read more on how they were able to accomplish the Project Speed of Sound with electro popping colors...

The challenge is to create a song in 24 hours while collaborating with an act of separate genre for the first time.

The good thing about it though is that Taken By Cars play electro-rock music, which is very plausible to sync with club DJ Mars Miranda's beats. But with the time frame given, how were they able to keep up?

Thanks to today's digital age, the internet helped them juice inspiration with the help of a larger realm of influences from the world wide web.

Taken By Cars admits they can easily lay down suggestions by just connecting their friendly gadgets like laptop, tablet or phones to the internet, whether they're jamming in a studio or house.

Mars Miranda is also thankful for the fast internet connection as a medium to present "pegs". According to the Republiq DJ: 

"Scanning through cds, through records, downloading like a certain peg that you wanted to share to everyone would have taken forever, but now it's all there (internet & technology), search mo lang sa youtube okay na, andyan na siya!"
