The English indie pop band will be performing in the Philippines for the first time on July 30th, 7PM at the NBC Tent.
The XX members met each other at Elliott School on 2005, but it was only on 2009 when they released their self titled debut album with the single Crystalised. Their members were Oliver Sim (frontman and bass player), Romy Croft (female vocals) and Jamie XX (drummer), while former member Baria Qureshi left the band 2009.

Many enjoyed their soulful and calm music that a year after, 2010, their album won the prestigious Barclaycard Mercury Prize! They were also named British and Irish Album of the Year.
Last year, 2012, The XX released their second album "Coexist" with their singles "Chained" and "Angels". They were also included in the soundtrack of this year's "The Great Gatsby" with the song "Together".
Joining The XX on the 30th are Pedicab, Taken By Cars and Up Dharma Down. The XX Live In Manila is brought to us by RandomMindsProduction.
