WHEN: YAHOO! OMG AWARDS 2013

Fans and celebrities came together for last night's (June 19) Yahoo! Philippines OMG! Awards 2013 at the Mall of Asia Arena hosted by Edu Manzano and Billy Crawford!

The award show which started from a website named 'omg!', an entertainment news and gossip site run by Yahoo!, aims to give fans the right to vote via online poll. Truth to this is this year's theme "Stars rock. Fans rule." The nominees are based on the celebrities or topic with the most number of searches on the local search engine of Yahoo!

The first to be awarded were those from the radio category. I was rooting for RX 93.1's Chico or Magic 89.9's Boys' Night Out but would have to accept that Papa Jack's followers are consistent, giving him a back to back win for the OMG! Awards Male DJ of the year.

Other winners for the radio category are: 

- Radio Show of the Year: "Tambalan," Love Radio 90.7

- Best FM Radio Station: Barangay LS 97.1

- Best Female FM DJ: Nicole Hyala, Love Radio 90.7

I am amazed how the following of these two young GMA singers manage to always put their idols on the winning spot. Same as in MYX Music Awards 2013 where winners are based on votation, 2013's OMG! Awards Male and Female Performer of the Year is Julie Anne San Jose and Elmo Magalona, who also performed that night.

Opening the event were Gary V.'s high energy and Billy Crawford's non-stop dance moves.

Giving us some R&B vibe performance were Kris Lawrence, Sheng Belmonte and Young JV.

Franco and Kjwan played some good loud rockin' music! No doubt, Franco and Raymond Marasigan's just some of OPM's best vocalists.

Singing some of the teleserye theme songs are Yeng Constantino and Erik Santos.

Kean Cipriano and his band Callalily rocked the Bb. Pilipinas finalists who also ramped for Jag that night.

Ex lovers Christian Bautista and Rachelle Ann Go sang the sweet songs "In Love With You" and "We Could Be In Love".

The Yahoo! OMG Awards ended with Charice's world class performance of her songs "Louder" and "Pyramid".
