Itchyworms, where it won the grand prize. Now, in 2018, the song has been given new life in the official soundtrack of the hit film Sid & Aya (Not A Love Story) produced by Viva Films starring Dingdong Dantes and Anne Curtis, directed by Irene Villamor).

I am a heels to wedge to flat shoes lady, but would prefer wearing slippers everyday given the chance. Learning how to play this cute little member of the lute family is just one of the short term goals I'm planning to achieve this year. I remembered when some of my officemates would bring their ukuleles and play them after work where we would all sing along. The idea of quick jamming sessions without having to bring a guitar, which looks like the uke's big daddy (yet the two are different), started my interest. Problem is I don't own a ukulele yet and I don't know who among my friends are available to teach me. Good thing we have a growing number of places where we can purchase the ukulele. But the best ones are those where we can also learn how to play them, even jam with fellow uke lovers, while enjoying good food and drinks!

It probably started when I was around 10 or 11 years old, I would write poems about love, dogs, and tooth fairies. When I was in High School I remembered recording line per line the lyrics and melody I would come up with as I lay down in bed trying to make myself sleep at the same time. It was somewhat a passion that didn't fully spark, or has been forgotten for other interests. Until early this year when I had this goal to focus on discovering my potential in music; going back to learning the guitar, writing songs, and singing to mention the least.

MY 2015 LSS / BLAME IT ON NOONTIME SHOWS, FB, MOVIES AND FM RADIO

Is it redundant to say the word "trending" almost ultimately trended for the year 2015? I mean it's one overplayed hit after another, a viral music video every quarter, memes shared thousands of times, famous theme songs and soundtracks dethroned after every much awaited movie and TV releases. 2015 is definitely a year of trending music here and there. This, I suspect, is the culprit for my ever changing LSS or last song syndrome.

See I prefer to listen to the radio on my way to work than my own playlist, just so I can be updated with mainstream music. And for someone who is working for a TV network, man I cannot escape the hits played on almost every variety show both of ABS-CBN and GMA! Already have a guess? Let's see if you got it right ;)

Kamikazee have admitted to being “humbled” by fan reaction after thousands snapped up tickets for their farewell show at the SMART Araneta Coliseum on December 10, 2015 8PM.

The 15,000-capacity venue looks set to be a sell-out with legions of Kamikazee fans having already made sure of their places at what is set to be the gig of the year. Over 1,000 tickets were sold in just minutes after they went on sale, while the standing section and several seated areas have already sold out.

Wilderness, most known for their robust performances of psychedelic rock numbers, releases music video for Modern-Kundiman song “Pasaway”. The two-day shoot was located in Director Lumbera’s hometown where the members embarked on an expedition through the thick woods and sprawling rivers of Balete, Batangas. It was directed by Gym Lumbera and, hello HS sophomore classmate, Malay Javier!

I never thought a place in Batangas can haunt me, at least on screen. And by haunt I meant not the spirit kind, but the unexplainable feelings that recur to your familiarity, much to its video and calming story telling. Kung hugot at hugot lang, walang sinabe ang lyrics ng mga bagong banda! Wait till the end of the video and read the lyrics, saksak!

This is probably the third time I will have a post published with photos of Ely Buendia in it, with Sony's very first silent concert in the country being my closest encounter with him. How I wish I can consider this photoshoot as the nearest I could ever be with him though, but the lucky stars are over photographer Adrian Gonzales so I'll just have to envy him for as long as I consider Buendia as the hottest OPM vocalist, next to Gab Alipe (waaah).
