Di Na Muli was written in 2016 by long-time friends Jazz Nicolas and Wally Acolola. They
entered the song into the 5th Philippine Popular (PhilPop) Music Festival, performed by The
Itchyworms, where it won the grand prize. Now, in 2018, the song has been given new life in the official soundtrack of the hit film Sid & Aya (Not A Love Story) produced by Viva Films starring Dingdong Dantes and Anne Curtis, directed by Irene Villamor).

HIPHOP OPM CEBUANA ARTIST KARENCITTA AKA K.SEA'S "SO HELP ME GOD VOL.1"

Her songs reminded me back when I was still listening to Chill, another female OPM rap artist from many years ago. I am glad Karencitta or K. Sea was able to share to me her first ever project "So Help Me God Vol. 1" mixtape. Most of it being laid back making it easy for me to discover the whole playlist even as I work.

WARNER MUSIC PH YEAR END BLOGCON 2015

When a music giant sent me an invite for dinner at Lola Cafe - few blocks away from my office - with Coldplay listening party included in the event, there is no way I would say no. It's Warner Music Philippines' year end blogcon and it is also my first time to finally meet Ms. Donna Aquino, Warner's online promotion executive.

WHAT: KAMIKAZEE'S "HULING SAYAW" PRESSCON IS EXACTLY WHY YOU'LL MISS THEM

KAMIKAZEE'S "HULING SAYAW" PRESSCON IS EXACTLY WHY YOU'LL MISS THEM

It was early this year when OPM band Kamikazee announced their decision to disband after a loud and insane 15 years in the music scene. Although despite the viral disbandment news, the band then cleared that it's more of an indefinite hiatus. Hmm, either way it's still saddening, more so after being with them for their final show concert presscon.

WHAT: WILDERNESS RELEASES MV OF MODERN KUNDIMAN "PASAWAY"

WILDERNESS PASAWAY

WILDERNESS RELEASES MUSIC VIDEO OF MODERN KUNDIMAN "PASAWAY"

Wilderness, most known for their robust performances of psychedelic rock numbers, releases music video for Modern-Kundiman song “Pasaway”. The two-day shoot was located in Director Lumbera’s hometown where the members embarked on an expedition through the thick woods and sprawling rivers of Balete, Batangas. It was directed by Gym Lumbera and, hello HS sophomore classmate, Malay Javier!

I never thought a place in Batangas can haunt me, at least on screen. And by haunt I meant not the spirit kind, but the unexplainable feelings that recur to your familiarity, much to its video and calming story telling. Kung hugot at hugot lang, walang sinabe ang lyrics ng mga bagong banda! Wait till the end of the video and read the lyrics, saksak!

WHEN / WHO: REGINE VELASQUEZ AND MARTIN NIEVERA VOICES OF LOVE CONCERT AS TOLD BY A LONG TIME REGINIAN

REGINE VELASQUEZ AND MARTIN NIEVERA VOICES OF LOVE CONCERT AS TOLD BY A LONG TIME REGINIAN

Levy M. shares his Regine concert experience on Faudible:

I really can’t remember when I started liking Regine Velasquez.

Hmm, perhaps it was when she had her 2-night sold out R2K concert way back April of 2000, held at the Araneta Coliseum. She sang "On The Wings of Love" and "Butterfly" while being suspended in mid air as if telling everyone “Fuck you all, I can belt those high notes while wearing this harness for 2 consecutive nights!” *joke*

WHO / WHAT: PAROKYA NI EDGAR HITS TWO DECADES / 20 REASONS WHY WE LOVE PAROKYA NI EDGAR

Is it even necessary to say that I am a fan of this 20-year old band who managed to continuously mash-up music with comic relief? Yes Parokya ni Edgar is two decades old, and for a band who has a fanbase of 3.5M on their facebook's like page alone, does it even surprise you?

For their 20th anniversary, Gloc 9 and Frank Magalona joins Parokya ni Edgar for the single "Ang Parokya" as part of the three-disk album "Bente" to be released on Nov.29.

"Yan ang Parokya kahit na hindi magaling, kami ang bandang hindi nila kayang patayin..." - this is the first line you'll hear from the new song's chorus and I have here my own 20 simple reasons why (insert annoying conyo tone) "Parokya is really magaling!"
