WHEN: TYPHOON HAIYAN/ YOLANDA BENEFIT CONCERTS/ GIGS

It's almost two weeks since the dreadful category 5 typhoon Haiyan/ Yolanda hit the country, most especially in the Visayas area. Because of the huge effect it brought the different provinces, we are now also in need of huge relief efforts and donations to help their community start again.

This is probably the best time to incorporate fame and talent with charity, and our different artists seem to agree that through music, we can all be united. If you want to help and donate while still being able to enjoy and listen to great music, you might wanna check the upcoming benefit concerts/ gigs here and abroad that are lined up as aid for the survivors of typhoon Yolanda:

WHEN: MYX MO! 2013 FOR A CAUSE

 

It's a gathering of great OPM acts once again for the MYX MO! 2013 happening on November 12 at the MOA Concert Grounds!

MYX Mo! is probably one of the longest running annual music event in the country. Launched in 2002, MYX Mo! has been offering us a one night OPM celebration every year.

Let me know if you guys need tickets, I might just give you some. But if you could buy some tix too, it will also be of help to raise funds for Yolanda victims :)

WHEN: CLOSEUP FOREVER SUMMER POSTPONED TO A LATER DATE / FOXES, REBECCA & FIONA AT REPUBLIQ

 

I know this is supposed to be a "forever summer" party, but the unexpected visit of the category 5 typhoon Yolanda / Haiyan negated the theme.

Let's all find time to pray for everyone's recovery and prioritize safety first. Good job CloseUp. First, for making sure you get them to an indoor location for security. Secondly, for STILL thinking of the ticket buyers' welfare and not pushing a location a lot smaller than the expected attendees. I know how CloseUp Summer Solstice went, and it doesn't surprise me how much you guys want to give us the ultimate summer party experience :)
