WATCH: ERASERHEADS SURPRISES US WITH A REUNION VIDEO THANKS TO SMART

ERASERHEADS SURPRISES US WITH A REUNION VIDEO THANKS TO SMART

It's undeniable how people, from different generations, clamor for another chance to witness the reunion of one of OPM's gems Eraserheads. I regret not being able to see them perform live. I remember back in 1997 I was a little kid cheering for them as they receive their MTV Asia Viewer's Choice Award in New York City, and since then it's been a dream to watch their concert.

WATCH: GET TO KNOW KICKSTATIK, YOUR ULTIMATE ONE STOP SHOP FOR VINYLS, SNEAKERS & MORE!

KICKSTATIK SNEAKERS VINYL

GET TO KNOW KICKSTATIK, YOUR ULTIMATE ONE STOP SHOP FOR VINYLS, SNEAKERS & MORE!

I am a late bloomer when it comes to sneakers. I do have pairs of rubber shoes and sneakers growing up, but it's either given to me or I have to buy one coz I just applied for gym membership. I am a heels to wedge to flat shoes lady, but would prefer wearing slippers everyday given the chance. I was never the sporty looking one, I would just wear my fave red and black Converse hi-cut or the classic Adidas whenever I want to look boyish or rugged at work.

LOVE UKULELE? HERE ARE PLACES YOU CAN BUY, LEARN, AND PLAY THE UKE!

UKULELE MANILA PHILIPPINES

LOVE UKULELE? HERE ARE PLACES YOU CAN BUY, LEARN, AND PLAY THE UKE!

Learning how to play this cute little member of the lute family is just one of the short term goals I'm planning to achieve this year. I remembered when some of my officemates would bring their ukuleles and play them after work where we would all sing along. The idea of quick jamming sessions without having to bring a guitar, which looks like the uke's big daddy (yet the two are different), started my interest. Problem is I don't own a ukulele yet and I don't know who among my friends are available to teach me. Good thing we have a growing number of places where we can purchase the ukulele. But the best ones are those where we can also learn how to play them, even jam with fellow uke lovers, while enjoying good food and drinks!

TAKING NOTES AT THE 2016 PHILPOP SONGWRITING WORKSHOP W/ THE MAESTRO

PHILPOP 2016 RYAN CAYABYAB

TAKING NOTES AT THE 2016 PHILPOP SONGWRITING WORKSHOP W/ THE MAESTRO

It probably started when I was around 10 or 11 years old, I would write poems about love, dogs, and tooth fairies. When I was in High School I remembered recording line per line the lyrics and melody I would come up with as I lay down in bed trying to make myself sleep at the same time. It was somewhat a passion that didn't fully spark, or has been forgotten for other interests. Until early this year when I had this goal to focus on discovering my potential in music; going back to learning the guitar, writing songs, and singing to mention the least.

HIPHOP OPM CEBUANA ARTIST KARENCITTA AKA K.SEA'S "SO HELP ME GOD VOL.1"

Her songs reminded me back when I was still listening to Chill, another female OPM rap artist from many years ago. I am glad Karencitta or K. Sea was able to share to me her first ever project "So Help Me God Vol. 1" mixtape. Most of it being laid back making it easy for me to discover the whole playlist even as I work.
